It Started with Saddle Oxfords
I've always had a love for fashion, but I think my true quest for style began when my mother bought me what I thought was the ugliest pair of shoes in the whole wide world--saddle oxfords! Her need to supply me with the best shoes for my growing feet and my desire to look cute whenever possible clashed in a big way. I decided then that things would be different once I was in charge. Surely, there had to be shoes that were good for my feet and stylish too! Even now, my mom and I have good-natured laughs over how differently we viewed those shoes.
The dreaded

Growing up, I loved curling up with fashion magazines. Reading them from cover to cover fueled and inspired my knack for creating flattering outfits and my natural understanding of how to curate a wardrobe that just works. As an adult, I became the friend other friends turned to for fashion advice. What some saw as drudgery, I saw as big fun. And the fun expanded when I began representing an L.A.-based designer clothing line nearly 20 years ago. My clients come from all walks of life and are in all phases of life. They’re stay-at-home moms, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, artists, medical professionals, educators, administrators, and more. And they range in age from 20-something to 90. During the personal styling experience, I guide my clients through a process to define their unique style, figure out what is and isn’t functioning for them in their closet now, and, ultimately to create a wardrobe that does work for them. When working with a client, I live for the moment when she sees herself in the mirror wearing an outfit that makes her look and feel like her authentic self. She smiles, gets a twinkle in her eye, stands a little straighter, and maybe even struts her stuff. She’s ready! For what? Any and everything she puts her mind to, and I love being part of making that happen!

The Assessment
Discovering Your Preferences
My aim is to help you create a wardrobe that works for you, so we'll start with you. We'll explore your personal style preferences, likes and dislikes, your lifestyle, and your current wardrobe choices and the reasons behind them. Based on what we discover, I'll create a mood board that reflects your unique style preferences.
The Closet Edit
Clearing the Clutter
We'll roll up our sleeves and consider each item in your wardrobe. Based on our discoveries from the assessment phase, you'll decide which items are keepers and which pieces may no longer suit you. When we're done, your closet will only feature pieces that truly suit you and your current lifestyle.
The Wardrobe Refresh
Rebuilding Your Wardrobe
Closet edits often reveal gaps in your wardrobe that need attention. The Wardrobe Refresh phase includes shopping to fill those gaps and, where needed, having pieces tailored for a perfect fit. The goal is not to simply add more pieces to your closet, but to add the right pieces for you and your lifestyle.

Dressing Will be a Breeze
Now that you own a wardrobe of pieces that resonate with you, fit and flatter your unique style, and coordinate seamlessly with each other, we'll organize your wardrobe so that creating the perfect outfit is simple whether you're heading to work, a special event, date night, downtime, or packing outfits for a trip. As we conclude your styling experience, I'll create a personalized look book of outfit options in your refreshed wardrobe!
